Celebrate the Holidays in Billings, Montana

If you’re spending the holiday season in hotels near Metrapark, there are plenty of little ways ways to get into the spirit of Christmas. Read ZooLightsbelow for many different events in the area this month!

The Christmas Stroll is an evening of festivities in Downtown Billings. Seasonal food and gift items, entertainment, merchant specials, hayrides, and visits with Santa can take place on December 7 from 5 to 9pm. New to the stroll this year is the Wine Tent.

The Yellowstone Art Museum will host Winterfair from 5 to 9pm on Friday, December 7 and Saturday, December 8. More than 30 artists and community groups will have works of art for sale including pottery, jewelry, clothing and fine art. Admission to the Yellowstone Art Museum is free on Friday evening and will coincide with the downtown Artwalk and Christmas Stroll. Jam at the YAM will also be hosted in the café from 5:30 to 8pm. Admission on Saturday will only be $1 to the event and all museum galleries.

You can take a holiday tour of the Moss Mansion until December 29 with Christmas Trees in every room. The mansion is open Tuesdays through Fridays and Sundays. Tours are at 1, 2 & 3pm. Tours on Saturday are on the hour starting at 10am with the last tour at 3pm. You can enjoy Candlelight at the Moss on November 30, December 7, 14th and 21 from 6-9pm. Reservations are required to attend. You can also shop for Christmas presents at the Metrapark at the Big Sky Holiday Gift and Craft Show from December 7-8. The show will be offering handcrafted clothing, jewelry, home décor, wood products, art, gifts, food and much more.

Zoo Montana will be offering ZooLights, Montana’s only drive through light display until December 16. Drive through the themed light displays while listening to holiday tunes at Zoo Montana! Each display is sponsored by local businesses. Only $10 per car, $15 per van or $20 per bus.
