Join the Family Friendly Celebration of Fun at The Montana Fair!

Come down to the Montana Fair from August 8th through the 16th for good old-fashioned family friendly fun! The Montana Fair offers everything that people love about fairs. If you and your family are looking for family friendly activities to do near Billings MT, the Montana Fair has it all, from delicious food and great entertainment and more!

The Montana Fair is centered on an agricultural celebration, and is in fact, the region’s largest event! Come and see all the livestock as citizens show their prized horses, cattle, pigs, sheep, goats and more. Other competitions for the desired blue ribbon are best homebrewed beer, best wine, and even best crocheted item. And what would a fair be without games and rides? There will even be a FREE Kid’s World area where kids can enjoy free activities, games and even a free petting zoo! Other rides for adults include a Ferris wheel and more.

All this walking around will probably get you hungry, but no worries, the Montana Fair has got you covered. You will be able to get all the traditional fair foods, such as American BBQ, delicious corn on the cob, corn dogs, and ‘Vikings On a Stick’. For something to drink, you can get some fresh lemonade or visit the beer gardens if you are 21 years old and over. While you walk around, there will be live entertainment for all to enjoy. Yellowstone River Roundup PRCA Rodeo will be there for a exciting rodeo show. The Billings Motorcycle Club will also present the Montana Fair with an adrenaline packed Supercross show! Artists such as Train, Chris Young, and Danielle Bradbery will also perform in concert.

Admission is only $8 for adults and $5 for children aged 6-12 years. Seniors 65+ years old can also purchase tickets for $5. If you have a child 5 years or younger, they can get in FREE! Friday, August 8th is the “Sneak-a-Peek-Night,” where gates open at 4pm and the fair opens at 6pm to midnight. From Saturday, August 9th through Saturday, August 16th, gates open at 12pm and the carnival is from 12pm to midnight. All the shopping and food vendors are open from noon to 11pm.
